“ Before we design something,We consider it important to recognize ourselves as a person living in a contemporary society between modernity and tradition , technology and nature , urban and regional.Because of Thailand is now in the gap between modernity and tradition.From these environment,It become to our inspiration to design products and finding the hidden desires , wishes and experiences by bring back the nature concept into the urban lifestyle.â€
Concept of Products
1. Cassetto : chair
Concept : “Cassetto†in Italian means a drawer.
After we came back from visitting Milan design week last year.
We have a big question to challenge our idea “Why a chair must beauty only the front-side?†So,It made our inspiration to concern more about back-side of the chair and analyze this idea to design.Then,We generated this conceptual idea in experimental design by merge 2 product forms between the chair and the drawer storage to make an individual drawer chair.
The gimmick and humor of the fake drawers are the added values of this chair.
2. Moose : Memo board
Concept : Nowadays,Trend of conservation including wild life is the important trend in our society.Everywhere,People and environmental organizations have protested and banned the animal hunting and decorating their deer or moose heads on the wall.
From this concept made our inspiration to create product for decorate.
Replace the deer or moose head and remind user to concern about the animal life.
This products are available both the white board and the cork board laminated with black or white stained-MDF board.
3. Pakking : Vase
Concept : Inspiration from the relationship between stones and trees in the garden of zen and present our perception of the Asian aesthetic by minimal and simple colour and form.
4. Grove : Coat hanger
Concept : Inspiration from the imagination of a tree in the paradise garden.The unique form created from the hidden desires of own-designer and add the function for hanging the coats or hats
The outstanding of design is ,It made from 2 MDF cutting sheets,supplied in flat packed and easily self-assembled.
5. Bee : Ceiling lamp
Concept : Inspiration from the form of bee’s house.So,It have the uniqueness and originality for hanging concept.And present the aesthetic of minimal and simple colour and form.
