E-vaso :: Cosca Design

E-vaso is a flower vase and a multiple socket outlet, that allows the plant to growing up in the correct way, if the vase is used like an energy feeder. If you decide to use E-vaso, you feed, at the sa e time, the plant with water and light. As a matter of fact, when E-vaso is working, a mechanism starts and allows the water filtering and feeding the plant. Then some leds start working and cast some rays of light towards the plant. In this way, the natural event, recently not so considered, assumes a new role becaming intermediary presence between man and machine.

3XN

(A vision for a new truck showroom)

---

(residential project - the project was awarded at the MIPIM fair in Cannes)

- 3XN values curiosity, originality and poetry and has a multi-layered approach.

We work with user-centered methods fitting each project uniquely to the users and our client – with a strong emphasis on designing for human beings.

We build on a Scandinavian tradition of functionality, clarity and beauty.

Each project is a research endeavor that adds to our experience and approach. Each new project rests on the shoulders of many others, yet challenges everything done before.

Our thorough knowledge of materials, engineering and user needs combined with our organizational strengths in economy, project management and implementation set us free to explore new frontiers and to challenge existing frameworks.

We work in the confident knowledge that we can make playful and poetic architecture jump from the drawing board and come alive.

3XN translates poetry into reality and aim for our architecture to become the heritage of tomorrow.

Music in the Rain :: sdesignunit

It’s very special feeling to listen to music on a rainy day. Rain, it makes people sentimental. Especially listening to music under an umbrella with a person you love gives us big emotion. The dome structure of umbrellas allows sound to be more concentrated, and a handle of umbrella could be a great part for controlling the music. Sometimes people spin an umbrella unconsciously. If you spin this umbrella to left or right, the music will move forward (right turn) or reverse (left turn). Unfortunately even though it is not raining, you still can use this umbrella. You can just put it in the corner of your living room with cradle, and then also you can enjoy the music from speakers of cradle.

Ceramic for mix, by Anna Gram'

"Ceramic for mix

The project aims at introducing a new way of drinking tea or another warm drink (with sugars), replacing the spoon. Ceramic ball is the simplest shape, where this hygienical and qualitative material finds its place.

The ball is put into a glass built with special shapes. Then we have to pour some infused tea into it for exemple: the liquid pushes the ball, and invites users to move it by moving the glass. The ceramic ball comes to mix all various sugars, ringing the glass at the same time. When we drink, this ball is blocked by the gravity in the recess of the glass, moreover than its shape is too big to be ingested.

This is a different and amusing way to use ceramic. Function creates an new gestural and aesthetic appeal."
